I built a nest on site at the Bay Area Discovery Museum from April 23 - 26, 2003 as a guest artist in their Hands and Minds series. It was so much fun! I was amazed by how focused and involved the kids were in the nestbuilding process. Even the ones barely out of diapers quickly got the hang of weaving sticks into the nest and many of the people stayed for up to an hour working on the nest with me.
