Jenn (28) grew up in various cities in Ontario, Canada in a very large blended family—three biological siblings and six step-siblings. She has always been a very thoughtful and caring person, which is why she pursued her childhood dream of becoming a nurse. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Calvin College in 1998 and worked as a nurse (in both medical-surgical and labor & delivery) until two years ago. Now she is staying at home full time with Aly and she loves every minute of it. We are fortunate that she can spend all this time raising our daughter. Both family and strangers alike are amazed how kind and talkative Aly is, which is due in large part to Jenn’s patient and creative parenting. |

I simply can’t imagine a better mother for our children.
As far as hobbies go, Jenn has no shortage. I used to think that Jenn’s hobby was trying new hobbies—but over the years she has really gotten quite talented at a few of them. She really enjoys scrapbooking, sewing baby-clothes, cooking, embossing home-made stationary, and doing a variety of crafts with Aly. She is one of the most kind-hearted people you will ever meet and a virtual magnet for children. She has plenty of room in her heart and is looking forward to sharing her love with another child.
