I was walking down Albina Street this morning, on my way to the studio, and was looking around at the flyers on the way.
My eyes fell on one especially nice flyer that was all colorful and handstamped.
Kat * Audley were two words that I noticed on the flyer.
And I thought, "Wow. That's my name, too. What a coincidence." It made me feel a little funny, though, that someone else out there had my name. I am used to feeling unique, you see.
Then I looked at it a little more. It also said, "Bristol Bay Greenhorn" below "Kat * Audley" and then the whole poster sort of came into focus at once.
"Sea Queens..."
"Hang On! I'M A SEA QUEEN! Hey! This poster is about me! And Moe! And Erin! Oh yeah! We're telling our fishing stories this Friday at that bookstore!"
